One of the Rare C3 Corvettes.
This one owner LS5 1970 coupe with the Top Flight Awards (of 99.3%) awarded in August of 2015 and once again in May of 2017 (at 94.9%) is the beginning of potentially many more NCRS and Bloomington awards.
* Although this is a Midwest car, it has always been garaged, has not been driven in cold weather (<50 degrees and seldom < 70 degrees), and has certainly not been in the snow, ice, or salt. Obsessed with careful use, it has been driven slowly over ruff RR tracks, no gravel, seldom in the rain, and parked at the far end of parking lots.
* This is a rare classic due to the 1970 production being the lowest for any C3 year. This is also lower than any C2 or C4 productions and only the C1’s were produced in fewer numbers than the ’70 production. Not until 1997 were there fewer numbers produced.
* The option list is loaded (and all working) including the highly sought after Big Block, Factory Air, and AM/FM Stereo.
* The meticulously maintained mechanics, including an overhaul of just over 3000 miles ago, puts this already unique Vette on a very “Short List” of rare vehicles.
* Performance proven. The incredible power of this “Last of the Chrome Bumper” Big Blocks was successfully evaluated (twice while under controlled conditions in ’71 & ’72). It pegged out at 160 mph with additional power in reserve.
* This vehicle is an investment grade “B” (a special vehicle with Technical Innovation, Style, and/or Competition Proven) and will follow the Market Value strongly.
There are fewer numbers each year of these early C3, High Performance, Originals!......... especially the One Owner, Fully Documented ones!!!
Original Documents and information saved:
